Territory: Delaware, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania

The Practice Director will help pharmaceutical clients redefine how they launch products.

The person in this role has significant Management Consulting experience and a deep understanding of the life sciences/pharmaceutical industry, including market trends. The Practice Director is accountable for building services and solution offerings that can be easily adopted by the market.

The Practice Director also supports direct and indirect revenue growth for the organization, consistently meeting or exceeding business development targets, participating in sales pursuits, and expanding existing client relationships.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Plan and manage branded product launches for the commercial organizations within pharma/life sciences, and be a trusted advisor to clients.
  • Engage, lead, develop, and grow a team of consultants; be a leader people want to follow.
  • Represent and build the brand through active engagement in the external marketplace, memberships, and organizations as a respected Product Launch Excellence Leader and Subject Matter Expert.
  • Perform post-launch evaluations to develop best practices and continually improve the practice.
  • Lead the engagement delivery, or when needed independently deliver excellent work products, presentations, and services.
  • Role model cultural values.

Qualifications (Education & Experience)

  • Global product launch experience.Previously led multiple pharmaceutical product launches.
  • Experience working across multiple therapeutic areas is strongly preferred.
  • 5 + years’ experience working in a Big 4 Management Consulting firm.
  • 10+ years working in/supporting the pharmaceutical industry (commercial operations).
  • 5+ years of experience in pharmaceutical product launch/launch excellence.
  • Expert ability to execute consulting processes and work products, including but not limited to program/project management, design, business analysis, coaching, presentations, proposals and contract generation, research, assessments and workshop facilitation using relevant tools.
  • Ability to influence change at all levels within a client organization.
  • Willingness and commitment to share knowledge, best practices, and learnings internally and a desire to flexibly play multiple roles within the growing team.
  • Bachelor’s degree and/or the relevant certifications and practical experience to credibly advise and execute transformational engagements and be readily perceived as a subject matter expert.
